Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu (1814 – 1873) was an Irish writer known for his Gothic and ghost stories. Le Fanuโs character, Dr. Hesselius, is one of the earliest paranormal investigators found in literature. Included are three of his case files: Carmilla, Green Tea and Mr Justice Harbottle
